Chief Information Officer

Our CIO needs broad knowledge of all aspects of IT. They must have strong analytical, strategic-planning and communication skills. The ability to collaborate effectively with other senior man­agers in order to define, articulate and champion the ways in which technology requirements relate to the firm’s business is critical. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related area is expected, and a master’s degree is required. Our CIO should  have at least 10 years of managerial experience in IT.

Typical duties include:

  • Developing and directing the firm’s overall IT strategy
  • Working closely with other senior management, including the chief executive officer, chief technology officer, chief operations officer and chief financial officer, to coordinate data systems policies and procedures
  • Providing vision and leadership in all aspects of IT management and operations
  • Approving all major system hardware and software purchasing decisions

Lead Applications Developer

The lead applications developer needs a solid background in applications programming and experience leading a technical team. We are looking for a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field along with three to five years or more of experience in technologies such as Visual Basic.NET, PHP, C#/C++ and Microsoft.NET framework development. In addition, the applicant needs several years of proven success as a team leader, as this role requires directing and motivating coworkers and working closely with other managers while multitasking and prioritizing resource needs.

Typical duties include:

  • Leading a development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
  • Coordinating the effective use of the development team’s time and ensuring efficient communication between team members and other IT functional areas
  • Providing feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement
  • Acting as a technical mentor and advisor for the development team

Web Administrator

The web administrator needs a thorough understanding of web technology and the Internet. He/She should be experienced in working with firewalls, intranets, domain name services, servers, and the related hardware and software required to administer a website. Familiarity with web services, TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP and HTTPS, LDAP and similar Internet protocols also is required. A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field and at least two to three years of experience in a web administration role are standard requirements, although additional experience in web-related positions may be substituted for formal education. In addition, the applicant should have excellent communication and customer-service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Typical duties include:

  • Installing, customizing, updating and maintaining corporate internal and external web pages and sites
  • Creating and analyzing reports on web activity, number of hits, traffic patterns and similar performance metrics
  • Monitoring customer feedback and responding to inquiries
  • Recommending network, server, and related equipment and software upgrades and improvements

Database Administrator

The database administrator needs a strong technical foundation in database structure, configuration, installation and practice. We are searching for individuals with knowledge and experience in major relational database languages and applications such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL/MariaDB. At least two years of postsecondary education is typically required. Professional certifications from Microsoft, Oracle and others also are valuable. The Effective database administrator of our dreams must have keen attention to detail, a strong customer-service orientation and the ability to work as part of a team.

Typical duties include:

  • Managing, monitoring and maintaining company databases
  • Making requested changes, updates and modifications to database structure and data
  • Ensuring database integrity, stability and system availability
  • Maintaining database backup and recovery infrastructure

Network Manager / Network Architect / Network Engineer

We are searching for a network manager who has experience working with data and voice networking, along with an excellent operational knowledge of network hardware and software. In addition, our network manager need outstanding interpersonal, management, and oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask. We are looking for candidates with 10 or more years of experience in a networking environment combined with at least several years of experience managing technical personnel. A Microsoft, Cisco or similar professional certification also is valuable.

Typical duties include:

  • Directing day-to-day operations and maintenance of the firm’s networking technology
  • Collaborating with network engineers, architects and other team members on the implementation, testing, deployment and Integration of network systems
  • Providing reports to IT management regarding network system performance, utilization and compliance
  • Managing and mentoring a staff of network technicians

Social Media Manager

We are searching for a Social Media Manager who has a passion for the social technology universe (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, SnapChat, blogs, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums, community software) Demonstrated ability to provide training to communication and management professionals throughout the organization on best practices for creating, managing, monitoring, anddeveloping content for social networks. The successful candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate complex and technical theory and information in an understandable manner. You also didn’t just fall into social media, it’s a passion point. You dig your job (just not as much as you’ll dig this one). You understand how to be scrappy and strategic at the same time. Your thinking can scale, and your career path has demonstrated that.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across our enterprise.

Typical duties include:

  • The social Media Manager will lead the development of organization-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media and will be responsible for organization-wide adherence to those policies. A lot of us don’t come from a marketing background, so some friendly rules of engagement and edification would be wonderful.
  • He or she will play a lead role in social content creation and help manage the social agency relationship and deliverables. Yes, we want you to help create content, not just strategize around it.
  • The Social Media Strategist will also define key performance indicators and implement enterprise level measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success. He or she will also apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely. We love data. UX Designer

We are looking for a talented user experience designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. We are establishing a unique brand in the used car industry for its ease-of-use and manageability, and user experience is central to this brand.

The UX Designer will join a team of handpicked brilliant engineers working on a fast, scalable and highly transactional used car remarjketing platform. L’n’ C seeks a candidate with extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and self-direction, coupled with a skill for collaboration and open communication. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.

The position is based in either our Germany or Luxembourg offices. However, for the ideal candidate we would also consider remote work.

Typical duties include:

  • Take ownership of product user experience, designing the interactions and interfaces.
  • Passionately advocate end user-centered usability views and work cross-functionally with the Product and Customer Success teams, and customers in effectively solving problems for our customers.
  • Conduct user experience research, identify and sketch out key scenarios.
  • Understand and contribute to use-cases and user stories for various workflows.
  • Lead regular design reviews, and conduct usability tests.
  • Communicate design intent to internal and external teams. Clearly represent the design work and advocate for users’ needs.
  • Create documentation that enables software developers to build software that fosters a delightful user experience.
